Our Premium Ceremonial Matcha is crafted exclusively from spring harvested and first flush organic tea leaves grown in Shizuoka and Kagoshima, and is processed at a JAS-certified organic factory.
This blend consists of Saemidori, Yutaka Midori, Yabukita, and Tsuyuhikari,
To produce tencha, the base green tea for making matcha powder, tea gardens are shaded to limit sunlight exposure, enhancing the leaves' flavor and color. After carefully harvesting the tea leaves, they are steamed to halt oxidation and then dried. Unlike gyokuro or sencha, tencha is distinctive in that it does not undergo a rolling process.
This tencha is then slowly and carefully ground into a fine powder using traditional stone mills, resulting in our premium ceremonial matcha.
Utilizing advanced stone milling technology, we employ a water-cooling system to prevent heat-induced discoloration during grinding, ensuring a vibrant color and rich flavor in the final matcha product.
In recent years, global demand for matcha has been rapidly increasing, and prices have risen accordingly. However, we continue to offer our products at highly competitive prices while ensuring a stable supply.
